The Stable is a former barn about half a mile from Montacute, and not far from Yeovil. It sleeps four. The king-size bedroom and the twin share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The twin beds are zip-and-link, so they can be made into a super-king-size if arranged in advance.
The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge with an ice box, and the utility has a washing machine. A travel cot and a highchair are available. The living area has a Smart TV and a wood burner, with the first basket of logs supplied.
Outside is an enclosed garden with a patio, a pond, outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Guests also have access to the shared gardens and an orchard. Because of the pond, small children need watching. Parking is private, for two cars. The shop and pub are 0.5 mile away, and the owners sell local produce such as apple juice and jams.
Two dogs are welcome, and additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure before 10:00.
It suits a family of four, or two couples, travelling with up to two dogs and happy to share the gardens and orchard.
