Wells Christmas Market returns on the weekend of Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December 2026. The historic streets of the city fill with more than 200 artisan stalls selling gifts, food and drink, and festive treats. It is one of the biggest seasonal events of the year in Wells.
What to expect
The market runs across two days and spreads through the city centre, with festive displays and family activities alongside the traders. Craft, food and gift stalls are the main draw. Wells also has Sunday markets through 2026, and the Christmas weekend is a special two-day addition to that programme.
