Dunster Winter Festival is the village’s Christmas weekend, planned for Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December 2026. It took over from Dunster by Candlelight, the December event that ran from 1986 until its committee found it had grown too large, expensive and complicated to keep organising.
What to expect
The full 2026 programme is due in November. One fixed point already: a ticketed Medieval Banquet at Dunster Tithe Barn on Friday 4 December.
