Glastonbury Frost Fayre takes over the town centre on Saturday 28 November 2026. Glastonbury Town Council runs it as a seasonal street event, with stalls, live music, children’s activities and the switch-on of the Christmas lights.
What to expect
Stalls and late-night shopping start at 10am. The Mayor opens the day at midday on the Melodrome Stage at the top of the High Street, and live performances run across five stages around the town. Buskers play all day at the Busk Stop outside St John’s Church.
For children there are fairground rides in St Dunstan’s Car Park, and shows, storytelling and lantern-making at the St John’s Church Hub. Look out for Father Frost, who joins the Mayor and the Town Crier. The lights on the Market Square Christmas tree go on at 5pm, and the event closes at 6pm.
