Kilve Granary

Kilve Granary is a cottage in Kilve, near Bridgwater, at the foot of the Quantock Hills, a short way from Bicknoller. It sleeps two. The approach is a private entrance shared with the owners' adjoining property, and two internal doors connect the granary to the main house. Both stay locked throughout a stay.

You enter by two steps into a kitchen and dining room with an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee machine and a washing machine. The lounge has Sky Glass, which does not include the Sky Sports package, along with a DVD player and Wi-Fi. Upstairs there is a large double bedroom and a twin room, and the twin has smaller beds so is suitable only for younger children aged up to 10-11. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

The small enclosed garden has seating and a swing suitable for a toddler. One dog is allowed, additional charges may apply, and it must be supervised when it is in the garden. Parking is plentiful.

A rocky fossil beach with a tea room is less than a mile away on foot. The pub is within a mile's walk and the nearest shop is three miles away. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.

It suits a couple, with or without a dog, who want the beach on foot and don't mind the two steps at the front door.
