A low, wide original front door marks the way into Aldenham Cottage, a detached stone barn conversion in Kilve near Bridgwater and a short way from Bicknoller. It sleeps four. The private entrance is shared only with the owners' neighbouring property.
Inside, the lounge and dining area are open plan, with a tiled floor and a wood burner; the first basket of logs is included. The TV has a Firestick, Freeview and a DVD player, and Wi-Fi is available. The kitchen is small but fitted with an electric hob and oven, a fridge, a small freezer, a microwave and a washer/dryer, and has a dining table and chairs. Upstairs, a double and a twin bedroom both have exposed beams and sloping ceilings, and the bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.
The enclosed garden is sloped and has seating and a BBQ. A stairgate, a travel cot and a highchair are available. Bring your own linen for the cot, and your own towels, as towels are not included. Phone signal is intermittent. Parking is off-road, with plenty of room.
The beach and the pub are both within 0.6 miles, and the nearest shop is around five miles away. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure is before 10:00.
It suits a couple or a small family with a dog who want a quiet barn and are happy to walk to the beach and pub.
