Wellfield Cottage

Wellfield Cottage stands on the grounds of Wellfield Farm in the village of Mark, with views across to Brent Knoll. The shop is 0.8 miles away and the pub 0.6 miles.

The whole cottage is on the ground floor. The kitchen leads to a sitting/dining room with two sofas, a TV with DVD player and a large wooden dining table, and patio doors open onto a garden with a lawn and outdoor seating. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a washing machine, and there is WiFi. Storage heating is used, and bed linen and towels are included.

The two bedrooms, a double and a twin, are connected to each other. They share a shower room with a walk-in shower and a separate cloakroom with a basin and WC. Parking is off-road for two cars.

Several rules affect booking. The owner accepts Saturday to Saturday bookings only, with a minimum stay of four nights, and infants and children under three years old are not accepted. Stag and hen parties are not accepted either. Guests must not charge an electric car at the property. No pets and no smoking.

The bedroom and shower-room layout may not suit four adults; three adults and one child or teen would be most comfortable. It suits a small family with children over three who want a rural base with every room on one level.
