Pear Tree Cottage

Pear Tree Cottage is a barn conversion attached to the owner's home, close to the village of Mark and five miles from Burnham-on-Sea. The shop and pub are both a mile away. A small caravan site sits at the rear of the property.

Everything is on one floor. The main living space is an open-plan, beamed area combining a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove, overlooking the garden and the fields beyond. Oil central heating backs up the stove, and fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove are included.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher, with a washing machine in the house. There are two TVs with Freeview, a DVD player, a radio, an iPod dock and WiFi. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Two beamed bedrooms lie at the back. The main one has a king-size bed and a wall-mounted TV, and the second has single-bed sleeping space. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The front patio has furniture, and two cars can park off the road. Pets and smoking are not allowed.

It suits a couple who want a one-floor layout and a woodburning stove.
