The Old Dancehall - Green Ore Estate

The Old Dancehall is a detached house on the Green Ore Estate, near Wells, about five miles from the city. It sleeps six in three bedrooms on the upper floor: a double with a TV and an en-suite bathroom with bath and WC, a twin with a TV, and another double with a TV. A shower room with a high beamed ceiling is on the same floor.

You enter through the kitchen and dining room, which has an electric oven and hob, a large American fridge/freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. A utility room next door holds the washing machine and a WC, with space for coats and muddy boots. A few steps up lead to the lounge, with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and a DVD player. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, electricity and central heating are all included. The water supply is private.

Outside there is a small enclosed walled garden for dogs and a larger enclosed garden with a patio and a charcoal barbecue. Parking in front of the house takes two cars, and more is available on request to the owner. Access to an electric charging point is available, with a charge payable to the owner. The pub is within walking distance and the shop is 5 miles away.

Up to two dogs are allowed, with additional charges possible. Check-in is from 14:30 and check-out is before 10:00. It suits a group of six, or a family with a couple of dogs, who want a quiet base outside the city.
