The Miners Cottage

The Miners Cottage is in Priddy, a Mendip Hills village, with Blagdon among the places nearby. The main living space is open plan, combining the kitchen, a dining area and a utility area, with a separate sitting room that has two sofas, an armchair and a Smart TV. Books are provided.

Two bedrooms sleep five. One is a king-size with zip-and-link beds that can be set up as a twin on request, and the other is a family room. The bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Heating is by air source, WiFi is included, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are in the rent. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be supplied on request.

The rear garden is a patio, not enclosed. Off-road parking fits two cars. The pub is 0.5 miles away, the lake 1 mile and the shop 3.6 miles, so supplies need a drive.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but not upstairs, and crates can be provided on request. Smoking is not allowed, and a good housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a family with dogs, or friends sharing, who want a pub within walking distance and do not mind the shop being a drive.
