The Forge is a detached barn in the village of Nempnett Thrubwell, near Blagdon, with views of the Blagdon lakes and the Blagdon and Chew Valley fishing lakes a few minutes' walk away. Exposed beams feature in the accommodation and the lounge has an oak floor. It sleeps four.
There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment and a WC, and the other is a shower room with a WC. The lounge has a TV/DVD, and Wi-Fi is included. The kitchen and dining area has a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and an electric oven and hob. A washing machine and tumble dryer are in the boiler room. Bed linen, towels, electricity and central heating are all included.
The garden is enclosed and has a patio with garden furniture, a barbecue, and croquet and badminton games. Off-road parking is ample. The pub is two miles away, the village shop four miles and the beach 15 miles. Smoking is not allowed, and no dogs are accepted. Arrival is from 15:30 and departure before 10:00.
It suits a family of four, or two couples, who want to fish or walk around the lakes and do not need a dog-friendly stay.
