The Flat By The Sea!

The Flat by the Sea is a ground-floor apartment on the Old Harbour front in Minehead. The lounge and the kitchen both look straight onto the sea, the beach is across the road, and the lifeboat station is a few yards along. The start of Exmoor National Park is right beside it.

The lounge has leather sofas and a Smart TV. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave and a cafetiere, and its French doors open onto the promenade. The two bedrooms are a king-size and a twin, and the twin has a door to a small outside verandah with seating. A shower room has a walk-in shower, a sink and a WC. A rotary washing line is at the rear.

Parking is on the roadside, with a permit provided free to guests, and a public car park is only yards away. Two small, well-behaved dogs are welcome and additional charges may apply. This stretch of beach is dog friendly, and pole fishing is possible from the beach in front. Shops, pubs, restaurants and the golf course are all within a 15-minute walk, and a children's play area is close by.

The flat sleeps four and suits two couples, or a family who want to be on the seafront. A picnic bag with plates and glasses is provided, and OS Exmoor maps are available for walkers. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.
