Halfpenny Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage in Minehead. The beach is a 15-minute walk, the shops are about 500 yards away, and pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. Dunster, a medieval village with a National Trust castle above it, is a couple of miles from the door, and Exmoor National Park is a short drive away for walking or cycling.
The two bedrooms are a twin room and a king-size room with its own TV. There is one shower room with a shower and WC, and a separate WC on the ground floor. The lounge has a TV/DVD, and the kitchen/diner has an electric oven, gas hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Wi-Fi is included, and a stairgate is available.
Outside is an enclosed courtyard with seating, and off-street parking is for one car, on a private driveway. Bed linen, towels, electricity and central heating are included in the stay.
One dog is welcome, but only small breeds, because of the size of the cottage. Additional charges may apply. Halfpenny Cottage sleeps four and suits two couples, or a small family who want to walk to the beach and the shops. Arrival is from 15:30 and departure is before 10:00.
