The Cottage At Barrow Mead

The Cottage at Barrow Mead is on a country lane near Bath, looking out over open countryside, with the city centre around 15 minutes away by bus or car. The lane runs alongside a school, and about half a mile further on the cottage faces the southern Cotswolds.

The ground floor is one open-plan space containing the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner. The kitchen has an induction hob, an oven with a grill, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a fridge with a freezer compartment. There is a Smart TV and a DVD player, and the connection is full-fibre at around 200 mbps in each direction. Central heating backs up the woodburner, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The two bedrooms, one double and one twin, share a bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. A cot and highchair can be provided. Outside the cottage there is a bench, and the private garden overlooks an orchard. Off-road parking is available. The nearest shop is half a mile away and the nearest pub a mile. Pets and smoking are not allowed.

It suits a small family or two friends who want countryside quiet with Bath in easy reach.
