Bridge Lock Mews

Bridge Lock Mews is a canalside house for up to four guests in the Widcombe district of Bath, overlooking the Kennet and Avon Canal and Wash House Lock. The property has easy access onto the canal towpath. Pubs and a shop are within 200 metres, and the city centre is less than a mile away.

The layout runs upwards from the entrance. Stairs lead up to a galley-style kitchen and diner with a central dining table, and a flight of six more stairs goes up to the lounge, which has skylights in a vaulted, beamed ceiling and a TV. A couple of steps from the lounge lead to a glass apex door and a south-east facing balcony with garden furniture.

Both bedrooms are on the lower floors. On the ground floor, the king-size four-poster has an en-suite shower room. The twin room, also on the lower floors, can be made up as a superking by request and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower. The kitchen has a gas hob, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer, and a welcome pack and internet access are included.

One dog is welcome, and additional charges may apply. A designated parking space for one car comes with the house. It suits a couple or two couples who want a canal view, and a dog owner who can manage plenty of stairs.
