18th-century cottage for 4 in Priston, with a wood burner

Cider Press Cottage was built in the 18th century and stands in the grounds of the owners' house in Priston, on the outskirts of Bath. Guests may roam over 18 acres of park-like grounds, and a path leads down to the village and its pub, the Ring O'Bells, which is 0.5 miles away. The nearest shop is 2 miles off.

Both bedrooms are on the first floor, a king-size and a twin, and the bathroom there has a bath with a power shower over it. The living area has a woodburning stove, and the kitchen and dining area is equipped with an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washer-dryer and a fridge with a freezer compartment. A TV with Freeview, a DVD player, a hairdryer and WiFi are provided. Fuel, power, a starter pack for the stove, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

A private terrace has a table and chairs. Parking is off-road, an EV charger can be used for an additional charge, and a cot and highchair are available. Pets and smoking are not allowed. In July, August and September, arrivals are on Fridays for seven nights.

It suits a family of four, or two couples, who are happy with stairs to the bedrooms and want space to walk. Pheasant Cottage can be booked alongside for two more guests.
