Argyle Riverview Apartment is part of a building designed by Robert Adam in the 1790s, overlooking the River Avon in the east of Bath, with a view towards Pulteney Bridge. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has a double-height ceiling, three floor-to-ceiling windows and a central dining table, with the kitchen tucked beneath the mezzanine.

Stairs lead up to the mezzanine, which has a second lounge area and a sofa bed. Bedding for the sofa bed can be arranged for an extra charge. The apartment is booked for four guests.

The two bedrooms are a king-size room with a chandelier and original sash windows, and a double with an en-suite shower room. The second shower room has a walk-in shower and a WC. Kitchen equipment includes an induction hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer. Expect a welcome pack and internet access too.

There is no outside space, though Sydney Gardens, Henrietta Park and the riverside are close. Parking is in nearby car parks, as there is none at the property. Pubs and shops are within 200 metres. Dogs are not allowed. It suits two couples or a family of four who want a base beside the river.
