The Cart Shed

The Cart Shed is a detached, single-storey cottage on a working farm at Barwick, near Yeovil. It has one double bedroom and sleeps two, with everything on one level. Cars park off the road on a private drive, and the living space is open plan, with the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area built around a woodburning stove.

Bi-fold doors can be opened to watch the birds outside. The private garden is not enclosed and has decking and furniture. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi. Central heating is fitted, and fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove, plus bed linen and towels, are included in the rent.

The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The cottage has views across the countryside, and the patio is a spot for an evening outside. It is run as an all-year-round holiday home. Check-in is from 5:30pm and check-out by 10am. Pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The nearest pub is 1.1 miles away and the shop 1.5 miles.

It suits a couple who want a quiet farm stay without stairs.
