Polo Cottage

Polo Cottage in West Camel, near Yeovil, is laid out upside down. The double bedroom is on the entrance level, with an en-suite wet room that has a shower and WC, and a flight of stairs leads up to the lounge, dining area and kitchen. There is an additional sofa bed, but the cottage is booked for two.

The kitchen has a cooker, a hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge/freezer, a filter coffee machine and a Tassimo-compatible machine. The lounge has a TV and a DVD player, and the dining area sits in the same upper room.

The owner's 4 acres of farmland are a short stroll away, with chickens, pigs and lambs. Outside is an enclosed garden at the front with garden furniture. Off-road parking is for one car, and more may be available. The pub is a 5 minute walk, the bakery is 0.5 miles away and the nearest shop is 1 mile.

Up to three dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Heated dog kennels can be had on request, with a donation to the Air Ambulance. Arrival is from 16:30 and departure before 10:00.

It suits a couple who travel with several dogs and are happy to climb stairs to reach the living room.
