Stag Cottage

Stag Cottage is in Porlock, within Exmoor National Park, with the shop and pub 0.1 miles away and the beach 1.2 miles off. It has two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and sleeps four. A walk-in shower room serves both.

The living and dining room has a woodburning stove, and the starter pack, fuel and power are included in the rent along with bed linen and towels. The kitchen has an electric double oven with an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a Nespresso machine, a kettle and a toaster. The aga is for decoration only and does not work. Heating is electric, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi.

Parking is roadside. There are steps up to the property, and the steps to the garden are small and steep. The terraced garden is not enclosed and has furniture. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and a bond is payable. For a day out, Minehead has its beach and Splash Waterworld Park.

It suits two couples, or a family with a pair of dogs, who are comfortable with steps and want to be close to the pub and shop.
