Randall Cottage

Randall Cottage is a three-bedroom cottage in Minehead, 200 metres from the beach and 130 metres from the nearest pub. The South West Coast Path starts in the town, 100 metres from the door, and Exmoor National Park is 0.5 miles away. Splash Waterworld is less than a mile off.

The lounge/diner can be split into two spaces by closing bifold doors. An electric fire gives it a wood-burner look, but it is a feature only and is not used for heating. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there is a utility area and a downstairs shower room.

Upstairs are the three bedrooms, two king-size and a bunk bedroom with a view of the sea, plus a second shower room. A steep, narrow staircase climbs to the attic snug, where children can play games and watch their own Smart TV. There are five Smart TVs in all, across the lounge, the snug and the bedrooms. A travel cot and a highchair are available.

The courtyard garden is enclosed, with seating, sea views and an outside tap for muddy paws. Parking is on the street, subject to availability. Two dogs are welcome and additional charges may apply. The shop is 0.5 miles away. Randall Cottage sleeps six and suits a family with children who can manage the steep attic stairs. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure is before 10:00.
