North Curry - Westfield Cottage

Westfield Cottage is in North Curry, near Othery, and it is for two adults: infants and children are not accepted. The owner lives next door, and the cottage has a separate way out to the public footpath that leads into the village. The pub, village shop and Post Office are all within walking distance.

The lounge and dining area has a Smart TV and DVD player, an iPod dock, a stereo and an antique record player, with a few vinyl records provided. A wood burner effect electric fire gives heat. The kitchen has an electric double oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The double bedroom is the only bedroom, and the bathroom has a roll-top bath with an electric shower over it and a WC.

The fully enclosed cottage garden is reached by three steps. It has garden furniture on a patio and a summer house with extra seating, and the view runs across the owners' garden to the fields beyond. Private off-road parking takes two cars.

Up to two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 3.30pm and departure is before 10am. It suits a couple with a dog who want a quiet base within walking distance of a pub, but it is not right for anyone who needs to avoid steps.
