Morpeth

Morpeth is a white-washed cottage in the centre of Combe St Nicholas, a village on the edge of the Blackdown Hills between Buckland St Mary and Chard. The church is directly opposite, the village green is close by, and the Green Dragon pub and a shop are within 0.2 miles.

The house runs over three floors. A double bedroom on the first floor looks over the church, and a twin on the same landing faces the village green. A further twin bedroom is on the second floor. The one bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle, and a cloakroom with WC is on the ground floor.

The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, and the appliances include a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room has an electric fire and a smart TV, and oil central heating covers the rest of the house. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The enclosed rear patio garden comes with garden furniture. Two cars can park off-road at the front. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There is no electric vehicle charging at the cottage, and smoking is not allowed.

A good-housekeeping bond is payable. With three bedrooms spread over three floors, it suits a family or three friends or couples who are happy with stairs.
