Ammerham Farm Cottage

Ammerham Farm Cottage is a detached house on the edge of the hamlet of Ammerham, near Winsham, with open countryside views. Chard is the nearby town for the wider area. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms.

The king-size bedroom is on the ground floor and has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, with a cloakroom close by. Upstairs, a super-king bedroom has a zip/link bed that can be set up as a twin on request, and the third bedroom is a twin. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over. Beams run through the upstairs rooms.

The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, with fuel, power and a starter pack included, and oil-fired central heating backs it up. Appliances include an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and there is WiFi and a TV. A highchair and travel cot are available.

The large fenced garden has a lawn, patio, furniture and a summer house, and the private driveway holds three cars. Take care on the steps leading down from the conservatory to the garden. The village shop and pub are 0.9 miles away.

Pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Best for a family or three couples who want a bedroom on the entrance floor and a garden to themselves.
