Lodge 5, Brean Country Club

Lodge 5 is one of the lodges at Brean Country Club in Brean, set around landscaped gardens and lakes with views over a nine-hole golf course. The beach is half a mile away, restaurants, takeaways and pubs are under half a mile off, and a shop is just over 300 metres from the door.

Inside, the lounge, kitchen and dining area share one open-plan room with a Smart TV and DVD player. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a wine cooler and a coffee machine. There are three bedrooms: a king-size with a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room, and two twins. All three have Smart TVs. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC completes the layout.

Outside is a private enclosed veranda with garden furniture, plus an outdoor storage unit and a bike rack. Private parking is for four cars. The country club has a restaurant and bar open to the public and a nine-hole course that takes pay-and-play golfers, and it adjoins Brean Leisure Park, where the soft play and the waterpark are independently run. Opening can be seasonal and separate charges apply for these facilities.

Towels are not provided, and check-out at this lodge is at 9am rather than the standard 10am. Dogs are not allowed. Check-in is from 15:00. It suits a family or a group of up to six who want a self-contained base on a golf and leisure complex.
