Delphine Lodge, Meadow View Lodges

Delphine Lodge is a pet-friendly, detached lodge in Berrow, near Brean. Up to two well-behaved pets are accepted, and the lodge has a fenced-off private garden plus a rear patio with furniture. Parking is off-road, with room for two cars.

Everything is on one level. The lodge sleeps six in three bedrooms: two doubles, one of them with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a twin. The second bathroom has a bath, a basin and a WC.

The open-plan living area holds the kitchen, a dining table for six and the sitting area. Cooking is electric, with an oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, and there is a washing machine. A TV and WiFi are provided, though the WiFi can be intermittent because of the location. Oil central heating keeps the lodge warm, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all in the rent.

The shop is 2 miles away, the pub 1.7 miles and the beach 1.9 miles, and Animal Farm Adventure Park is on the doorstep. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. A second lodge can be booked alongside, and the two together sleep 12. Delphine Lodge is best for a family of six with a dog who want a fenced garden.
