Little Higgins

Little Higgins is a one-bedroom cottage on a farm at Lydmarsh, near Chard. The pub is 1.8 miles away and the shops 2.5 miles, while the nearest beach is 13.5 miles off.

Downstairs is a large lounge and dining room with a feature fireplace and an electric-effect wood burner, a kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a cloakroom with a WC. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a Krupps coffee machine, a fridge/freezer, an air fryer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. There is a Smart TV in the kitchen, a Smart TV and DVD player in the lounge, and a TV in the bedroom.

Upstairs, the one bedroom has a super-king bed that zips and links, so it can be made up as two twins, plus a separate dressing room. The ensuite has a bath, a separate shower and a WC. French doors open onto a small enclosed terrace with seating. Private parking is for two cars.

Dogs are not allowed. Babes in arms are accepted, but a travel cot and a highchair are not supplied. Arrival is from 4pm and departure is before 10am. It suits a couple who want a farm setting and a bedroom with a dressing room and an ensuite bath.
