Heathfield

Heathfield is a three-bedroom house on the edge of Milverton, set in 2.5 acres of private grounds with a private paddock, patio and a sweeping gated driveway. The town of Wellington is within reach. The grounds include an unfenced pond, so children and pets need supervising.

Inside are a formal dining room, a sitting room, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, with a utility room. The bedrooms are a king-size with an en-suite bath and shower, a second king-size, and a double. A family bathroom has a corner bath with shower over, and there is a cloakroom. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is a TV and WiFi, with oil central heating. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but not on the furniture or upstairs, and they must be supervised and not allowed to chase wildlife. Smoking is not allowed. There is no travel cot, highchair or stairgate. Check-in and check-out are on Saturdays only and one-night bookings are not accepted. A good housekeeping bond is payable. The shop is 1.9 miles away and the pub 2 miles.

It suits a family or three couples who want space and a paddock, and who will keep dogs downstairs.
