Blagroves Farm Stables

Blagroves Farm Stables has a hot tub, an inglenook woodburner and parking for two cars, in a barn conversion for four at Hillcommon, near Taunton, with Wellington 5 miles away. It stands in the grounds of the owner's home on a 300-acre working dairy farm. The ground floor has a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom with an en-suite shower room, which can be made up as a twin on request. The second bedroom is a twin, up the stairs from the lounge, with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Inside, a galley-style kitchen and dining room looks out to the garden through French doors. It has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a utility room outside. The lounge has exposed beams, slate flooring and an inglenook fireplace housing a woodburner, with all logs provided. A Smart TV carries Sky, Netflix, Amazon and Disney+, and both bedrooms have TVs.

The enclosed courtyard garden has furniture and a charcoal barbecue, and there is also a hot tub, with robes and towels provided for hot tub use. Private off-road parking takes two cars, and there is secure storage for bikes. A shop, pub and golf course are all about a mile away. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Check-in is from 15:30 and check-out is before 10:00. Up to three dogs are allowed, with additional charges possible. A neighbouring property on the farm can be booked together with this one for a party of up to ten. It is best for a couple or two couples who want a log fire and a hot tub, with the dogs along.
