Blagroves Farm View

Blagroves Farm View stands in the grounds of a working dairy farm at Hillcommon, near Taunton and not far from Wellington. It sleeps six in three double bedrooms, and every one has its own en-suite. The beds are zip-and-link, so any of them can be made up as twins on request. One double is on the ground floor with a patio door to the courtyard, and the other two are upstairs.

The ground floor is a single open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room with an exposed brick wall, beams and bi-fold doors onto the courtyard. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a Nespresso machine. A hallway cupboard holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge has Sky TV, a DVD player and an iPod dock, and Wi-Fi is included.

Outside is a private enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, a charcoal barbecue and a hot tub. Robes and towels are provided for use of the hot tub. A separate lawn at the side of the house gives children and dogs room to run. There is secure storage for bicycles. The shop and pub are about a mile away.

Up to three dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The neighbouring property on the farm can be booked together with this one for a party of up to ten. Arrival is from 15:30 and departure is before 10:00. It suits a group of friends or two families who want en-suite rooms, a hot tub and room for the dogs.
