Barncroft - Gidlands Farm

Barncroft is a detached stone barn at Gidlands Farm on Wellington Hill, near Wellington, and about half a mile from the Wellington Monument. A gravel drive leads to it, and two steps lead up onto the decking in front of the door. Inside is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner with double doors to the deck and a TV with DVD player.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine. A shower room with WC opens off it, and there are two bedrooms, a double and a twin. Bed linen and towels are included, along with electric and central heating, and a travel cot and highchair can be had on request. The barn sleeps four.

The deck is raised and wraps round two sides of the barn, with garden furniture and wide views. Next to the barn is a private hot tub. The front of the property has off-road parking for four cars.

Shop and pub are two miles away, spa facilities, clay pigeon shooting and course fishing are all within four miles, and the beach is 18 miles. One dog is welcome, with additional charges. Arrival is from 17:00 and departure before 10:00.

It suits a family of four, or two couples, who want a hot tub and plenty of parking, as long as they are happy with two steps at the door.
