Crooked Well

Crooked Well is a semi-detached stone cottage built in the 1840s, in a cul-de-sac in the middle of Timsbury, a village near Bath. The shop and the pub are each 0.2 miles away. Downstairs are a dining room, a sitting room with a freestanding electric fire that can be moved aside for an open fire, a kitchen with seating for two, and a cloakroom.

Two bedrooms are upstairs. The master has a superking bed with its own TV, which can be unzipped into two singles, and a further single bed can be added for a child. The family bedroom has a double and a single. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room. The bathroom has a bath with a hand-held shower, a separate walk-in shower and a heated towel rail.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and a tumble dryer is in the shed. Smart WiFi, a TV, a DVD player and a CD player are provided. Heating is gas central heating, and the open fire comes with a starter pack. Outside, the enclosed rear lawn and patio hold furniture and a firepit barbecue tripod, and the driveway fits two cars. A cot, highchair and stairgate are available.

Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and a bond is payable. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Bookings must start on a Friday. It suits a family of up to five, or two couples, who want a village base with a shop and a pub 0.2 miles away.
