Woodpecker Lodge

Woodpecker Lodge is a wood-clad barn conversion in the hamlet of Henley, on the edge of the Somerset Levels, with Langport and Somerton close by. It is all on one floor and sleeps two, and the shop and pub are 4 miles away.

The open-plan living area has a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, a dining table set for two and leather seating facing a Smart TV. There is a DVD player, WiFi, a docking station and a selection of books, games and DVDs. Heating is electric, and power, bed linen and towels are included.

The one bedroom has a super-king-size bed that zips and links, and can be made up as twins on request. Its en-suite has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. A cot and a highchair can be provided on request.

A private gravel courtyard garden surrounds the lodge, with furniture, and there is ample off-road parking. One or two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but not on the bed or the furniture. Electric vehicle charging is not allowed without the owner's prior agreement. Smoking is not allowed.

It suits a couple with a dog or two who want a single-storey base.
