The Old Dairy - Pedwell Farm

The Old Dairy is a detached, single-storey barn in Ashcott, a village near Henley and Glastonbury. A few external stone steps lead up to the front door, and a field next to the barn holds cattle, sheep and ponies. It sleeps two.

The open-plan lounge, sun room and kitchen/diner has oak flooring, exposed beams, a wood burner with the first basket of logs included, and a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a Nespresso machine. The king-size bedroom leads off the living space and has an en-suite shower room with a WC. Wi-Fi is included, along with electricity and central heating.

A raised seating area looks over the shared open courtyard, and a path leads to a garden with seating and a charcoal BBQ. Parking is off-road, for two cars, in the courtyard at the front. The shop and pubs are 4.5 miles away.

One dog is allowed and additional charges may apply, but the barn is not suitable for very large dogs. Check-in is from 3.30pm and departure is before 10am. It suits a couple, with or without a smaller dog, who want a quiet base and don't mind the steps.
