Willow Barn

Willow Barn is a renovated barn in Shapwick, on the Polden Hills, with exposed stonework and original beams kept inside. It lies near Henley. The shop is 1.7 miles away and the pub 1 mile.

The kitchen/diner has quartz worktops, an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a fridge. The sitting room has a woodburning stove and bifold doors onto the patio, and the heating is gas-controlled and runs through the floor. Logs are provided for the stove, and more can be bought from the owner. A TV and WiFi are included, along with fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

Both bedrooms are on the first floor, a king-size and a double, and they share a shower room with a walk-in shower. A mezzanine walkway with a glass panel overlooks the sitting room, so children need supervising near it.

Outside is an enclosed rear garden with a patio, outdoor seating and a lawn. Parking is ample and off-road, and there is an EV charger that is paid for through the owner. Pets are not allowed, nor is smoking. Until April 2027 only short breaks are accepted. Check-in is on Fridays only, and the longest stay is 28 nights.

It suits a couple, or two couples, who want a stove, a charging point and an enclosed garden.
