Old Cary Cottage

Old Cary Cottage is in Henley, about 4 miles from Langport. The shop is 3.8 miles away and the pub 4 miles, so this is a place to arrive with the shopping done.

Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living space combines a kitchen with an electric range cooker and a Belfast sink, a dining table and a sitting area, with a woodburning stove. Patio doors open onto an enclosed, lawned garden. Heating comes from an air source underfloor system, and fuel, power and a starter pack for the stove, bed linen and towels are in the rent.

There are two double bedrooms, and one of them has an en-suite cloakroom with a basin and a WC. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The kitchen includes a fridge, a freezer and a washing machine, and there is a TV and WiFi. A travel cot and a highchair are available on request.

The entrance has a cobbled path and a stone step, so it is not suitable for anyone who cannot manage a step. Off-road parking is available. Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. Only Friday changeovers are accepted.

It suits a couple or two friends who want a stove and a lawn on a single level, with a dog if they have one.
