Woodbine Cottage

Woodbine Cottage is in Skilgate, near Dulverton, and is decorated in a classic Old English style. The pub is 2 miles away and the nearest shop 5 miles. Exmoor National Park lies 1.9 miles off, and the cottage has private off-road parking for two cars at the front.

Beams, stable doors and wooden trusses survive from the original building. The ground floor starts with a library lined with books, armchairs and desk space, then a lounge with a wood burner and Smart TV, and a second lounge at the back with more seating and a bigger Smart TV and a Sonos speaker. The kitchen has an AGA, an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer, with a breakfast table and French doors to the garden. Underfloor heating runs through the house.

The ground-floor bathroom has a freestanding bath, a walk-in shower and a WC. Upstairs are three double bedrooms and a second bathroom with a walk-in shower and a WC.

The enclosed garden has lawns, an outdoor dining table, sun loungers and a paved patio. Two dogs are welcome, and additional charges may apply. Wi-Fi is available. The cottage sleeps six and suits three couples or a family who want separate bedrooms and plenty of living space.
