Threshers Barn - Dulverton

Threshers Barn is a converted barn with three en-suite bedrooms, set in a designated International Dark Sky Reserve. Exmoor's moorland begins within 2 miles and Wimbleball Lake is 9 miles away. The nearest shop and pub are 2.5 miles off in Dulverton, and the beach is 20 miles away.

French doors lead into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, a few steps down from the parking area. It has a wood burner with the first basket of logs supplied, a Smart TV, and a kitchen with a double oven, induction hob, dishwasher and a wine and drinks fridge. A utility boot room next door has a sink and a washing machine. A mezzanine under the eaves has a low sloping ceiling and a small double sofa bed suited to children; the barn is booked for six.

Three steps up from the kitchen are the three bedrooms: a super-king and two kings, each with zip-and-link beds that become twins on request. Two have en-suite shower rooms and one has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a separate WC is on the ground floor. A travel cot, high chair and stair gates are available.

One set of French doors opens onto private decking and another into the enclosed garden, which has a lawn, a pergola, outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbecue. There is private parking for three cars, and EV charging is available, chargeable through the Monta app. A field on site gives dogs room to run; they must be on a lead if livestock is there. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges possibly applying.

It suits three couples or a family of six who want en-suite rooms and a private garden.
