Denhill Cottage

Denhill Cottage stands in Chipstable, a village near Wiveliscombe, and the Exmoor town of Dulverton is within driving distance. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one a twin, and the family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, plus basin and WC.

The living room is warmed by an electric fire, while heating elsewhere is oil central heating. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a kettle, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi. A highchair and a travel cot are available for families with young children.

At the front there is a patio with furniture, and off-road parking takes two cars. The shop is 4.1 miles away, so shopping means driving, while the pub is 1.4 miles off. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all in the rent. Dunster Castle, Knightshayes Court, the West Somerset Steam Railway and Wimbleball Lake for water sports are the nearby days out.

No pets and no smoking are allowed, and a good housekeeping bond is payable. Walking trails cross the surrounding hills, and the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park are the nearby day-trip areas. It suits a couple, or a couple with a child who want a quiet village rather than a town.
