Willow Lodge

Two bedrooms open off a hallway at Willow Lodge: a double with its own en-suite shower room and WC, and a second room with twin beds. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and a cot and highchair are available on request. The lodge sleeps four.

Willow Lodge is a modern lodge in the New Oaks Farm Lodges group, on a working farm with livestock near Keinton Mandeville and Somerton. Compton Dundon lies nearby. Large doors in the open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area face out to the farmland. The kitchen holds an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and the lounge has a Freeview TV with a DVD player. Wi-Fi is available, though the signal can be weak and may not suit streaming or online gaming.

Outside is a decked terrace with garden furniture and a hot tub that guests have to themselves. The outside space is not enclosed. Charcoal BBQ hire is available. Private off-road parking takes two cars and electric car charging is offered for an extra charge. Early check-in and late check-out cost extra and depend on availability.

Shop and pub are 0.5 miles away, and a takeaway is 5.5 miles. Farm produce is sold on site, homemade meals for two can be pre-booked, and farm tours run on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, subject to availability. The farm's small leisure pool offers private hire, Swim Fit sessions and tuition as optional extras.

Dogs are not allowed and smoking is not permitted indoors. A refundable security deposit is payable on arrival. It suits a small family or two couples sharing.
