Vine Lodge

Vine Lodge is a single-storey annex on the outskirts of Kingsbury Episcopi, near Martock and the village of South Petherton. It stands on the owners' land, and guests are welcome to wander there for picnics and walks along the River Parrett. Everything is on the ground floor.

A shared driveway has room for two cars and leads to a front patio with a picnic bench. Inside, the double bedroom opens to a Jack-and-Jill shower room with a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. A utility holds the washing machine and freezer, and the open-plan living space combines the kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area around a woodburning stove. Patio doors lead to a rear patio with furniture. Underfloor heating runs in every room.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge. A TV, DVD player, WiFi and hairdryer are provided, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power are in the rent. A highchair and travel cot can be requested. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. The shop is 0.5 miles away, a fishing lake 0.8 miles, and the pub 1.4 miles.

No pets and no smoking are allowed, and the lodge does not take bookings made for any government agency.

It suits a couple who want everything on one level and a patio.
