Chestnut Cottage

Chestnut Cottage is a stone cottage next to the owner's home in Coat, a conservation village near Martock and South Petherton. Pub and shops are 1 mile away. The cottage opens into a boot room for outdoor gear, then an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with a vaulted ceiling and bi-fold doors to the garden.

The king-size bedroom is on the ground floor, beside the shower room. The twin bedroom is in the eaves, up a steep staircase, and has low, sloping ceilings. Because of the steep stairs, the property is not suitable for children under 8. The kitchen has an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer and a Nespresso machine, and there is a Smart TV. A cot is available on request. There is WiFi.

The enclosed garden is private, with a patio, a lawn, furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Several cars can park privately, with space for at least 2.

Two dogs are allowed, and extra charges may apply. There are walks nearby for guests bringing dogs. The cottage sleeps four and suits a couple, or two adults with older children, who are happy with a steep staircase to the second bedroom. Arrival is from 3pm and departure before 10am.
