Cherrywood Barn

Cherrywood Barn is a newly converted, detached stone barn in the village of East Lambrook, about a mile from South Petherton. Everything is on the first floor, reached by a wooden staircase. The barn sleeps two adults, and children are not accepted, except babes in arms.

The living space is open plan, with the kitchen, dining area and sitting area sharing one room under exposed beams and Velux windows. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher and a Nespresso pod machine. A smart TV and WiFi are provided. The bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower, and the rent includes bed linen, towels, fuel and power. A good-housekeeping bond is payable.

A large balcony at the front has a table and chairs and looks over the neighbouring orchard, and a lawn is shared with the owner. Off-road parking is for two cars. The pub is 400 yards away, while the nearest restaurant and shop are 2 miles off.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, but it must stay on a lead in the grounds and be good with other dogs. Smoking is not allowed.

It suits a couple who want a first-floor hideaway with a balcony and a dog on a lead.
