Vespers

Vespers is a terraced cottage in the centre of Wells, converted from a former grain store that still has some original flagstones. It has views of the cathedral, and shops and pubs are all within walking distance. The kitchen and bathroom are new.

There are two bedrooms, both with views: a double with an en-suite WC, and a twin that can take an additional bed for small children only. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC. The lounge has a TV and DVD player, and the dining room has more seating and a flatscreen Smart TV with a DVD player. The kitchen has a low ceiling, a cooker, a fridge-freezer, a washing machine and a microwave.

A small patio at the back has seating. Electricity, central heating, bed linen and Wi-Fi are included in the booking, and towels can be hired. Parking is on the road, with a permit supplied; the permit must be returned, and a charge applies for any that are not. The beach is 10 miles away. The cottage is no smoking.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure before 10:00. It suits two couples or a small family who want to be on foot in the middle of the city.
