The Wesley Apartment

The Wesley Apartment is a fourth-floor corner apartment in a private complex in Wells, so the sitting and dining room looks out in two directions. The outlook runs across the city towards the cathedral and the Mendip Hills. Shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants are two minutes away on foot, and the cathedral and Bishop's Palace are about five minutes away.

Two bedrooms cover four guests. The main one has a super king-size bed, which can be zipped and linked as twin beds if you ask in advance, and its own en-suite shower, basin and WC. The second bedroom is a twin. A separate bathroom adds a bath with a hand-held shower, a basin and a WC, so there are two bathrooms in all.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. The apartment has a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, a radio, WiFi, and a selection of books, games and DVDs. Gas central heating is on, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside there is a communal garden, allocated parking for two cars and lockable bike storage. The way in is by internal stairs and there is no lift, which matters on the fourth floor with luggage. Pets are not allowed, smoking is not allowed, and there are to be no parties or events. Quiet is expected after 10:30pm.

It suits two couples or a family of four who want to walk into the city centre and leave the car parked, and who can manage the stairs.
