Thornhills Cottage

Thornhills Cottage is a single-storey cottage on a family-run farm on the edge of Othery. A drive leads up to private parking, and on the patio is a woodfired hot tub, which is the main reason to book it.

The cottage is only suitable for two adults and two children under the age of 12, so it does not suit four adults. The single double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. A double sofa bed in the open-plan living space makes up the other two places, and the owners point out that there is limited room to move around when it is in use.

The living area combines a kitchen, a dining area with seating for two and a sitting area with a TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge and a coffee maker. Gas central heating is provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The patio is enclosed and has furniture.

Pets and smoking are not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The shop is 0.5 miles away and the nearest pub is 1.4 miles away.

It suits a family with two young children who want a hot tub and a small, easy layout on one level. The farm's lodge and farmhouse can be booked alongside it by larger groups, up to 16 guests in all.
