The Tractor Barn - Orchard Farm

The Tractor Barn is a conversion on Orchard Farm, in the hamlet of Knapp just outside North Curry. North Curry has a shop and post office, a coffee shop and a pub, and Taunton is about seven miles away. The water is a private supply.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room has apex ceilings, exposed beams, oak flooring and a wood burner with a starter pack, and logs can be bought from the owner. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine and a washing machine. The king-size bedroom has an exposed stone wall, and the shower room next door has a shower and WC. A Smart TV is in the lounge. A travel cot and a highchair can be had on request.

Outside, a walled courtyard garden is enclosed, with a table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ. The wood-fired hot tub is private and comes with a starter pack, with more wood available from the owner. Guests may use the owners' tennis court, though no equipment is supplied. Private parking is off the road and takes two cars. A shop and pub are 1.5 miles away. The owner can arrange a local wildlife safari.

Two dogs are allowed, and extra charges may apply. The barn can also be booked together with The Pigsty at Orchard Farm. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. It suits a couple who want a hot tub and a courtyard, with a dog or two.
