Lemon Log Cabin

Taunton, the county town, is 8.5 miles from Lemon Log Cabin, which stands on a 130-acre site at Buckland St Mary, near Chard, in the Blackdown Hills. The A303 is four miles away and two village pubs are within three miles.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has floor-to-ceiling sliding patio doors that open onto an enclosed veranda with seating, and the table seats four. The kitchen has an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge and freezer. Guests can use a shared washing machine and tumble dryer free of charge. Smart TVs are in the lounge and bedroom.

There is one king-size bedroom, and the shower room has a large walk-in shower and a WC. The cabin is booked for two. A travel cot and highchair are available.

The fully enclosed garden has a picnic table and charcoal barbecue, and an on-site dog shower is there for muddy paws. Two dogs are welcome, and additional charges may apply. Parking is private, for two cars. The site is non-smoking, has a private water supply and has CCTV at the main entrance gate. Supermarket deliveries are accepted from 10am to 6pm. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.

It suits a couple who want a compact cabin with an enclosed garden for a dog or two.
