Duddlestone Farm - Lambs View

Lambs View is a reverse-level cottage in the grounds of the owners' small farm, Duddlestone Farm, in Shoreditch, a village near Taunton. You enter through an enclosed courtyard garden straight into the king-size bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, a separate shower and a WC. Stairs from the bedroom lead up to the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.

Upstairs, a Juliet balcony looks out over fields. The lounge has an electric fire and a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven with a two-ring hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a coffee machine, and a breakfast bar seats two. A travel cot and a highchair are available.

The walled courtyard garden is enclosed, with a seating area, a charcoal BBQ and a hot tub. An unenclosed pond lies 100 metres away in the owner's grounds, so take care near it. Parking is off the road for one car. CCTV runs at the points of exit only. A pub is two miles away and the nearest shop 1.4 miles. Sauna sessions on the farm can be pre-booked with the owner, who can also arrange a meet and greet with the farm animals, and bike storage and a wash area are available on request.

One small or medium, well-behaved dog is welcome, and extra charges may apply. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure before 10:00. It suits a couple, with or without a small dog, who want a hot tub and a farm setting.
