The Quantock Room

The Quantock Room is a one-bedroom stay for two with a wood burner indoors and a fire pit outside, on a farm at the edge of Williton. The West Somerset Railway runs behind the main farmhouse, and shops, pubs and a bakery are within walking distance.

French doors lead from a private enclosed terrace, which looks over the shared landscaped gardens and the Quantock Hills, into one light room. The kitchen area has an electric oven, a two-ring hob, a fridge with an ice compartment and a dishwasher. The lounge has a Smart TV and the wood burner, with the first basket of logs included, and the king-size bed in the sleeping area sits under Velux windows. The shower room has a shower and WC.

Guests and their dogs can walk the owner's 25 acres and the river bank, and a picnic bench sits along the way. A shared utility room holds a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Ample off-road parking is opposite the property, EV charging is available on site, and the internet comes by Starlink.

Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges that may apply, and babes in arms under 2 are accepted. The room can be booked together with The Flower Room, which also sleeps 2. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure before 10:00. It suits two people with dogs who want a fire to sit beside, indoors and out.
